Two-player games for you and a friend
Just the two of you? Good. These games are built for a pair, so nobody sits out and every round is a rematch waiting to happen.
Royal Shells is untimed chess for two, played online or passed across one device. Speed is a card race with no turns: you both play at once until someone clears twenty cards. Ember Volley settles it over a sizzling net, first to seven. Want to be on the same side for once? Shellbreaker gives you two paddles and one brick field, and Egg Pop has you both aiming into one bubble board.
Two card tables seat up to eight but have a rule for a pair. With two friends, Benny joins The Yolk’s On You as a third player so your hands stay hidden, and two bots fill out a game of Spoons. Share a link or a room code and play from any phone, tablet or computer.
On this page: games whose friends room seats exactly two, plus games that add bots when only two friends join.
