How to play Spoons

Keep four cards and tap any of your five to pass it left. Match four of the same rank to take the first spoon. Once one spoon is gone, everyone can grab. Miss a spoon or grab before you qualify and you’re out. One fewer spoon each round; last egg wins. Incoming cards pass automatically after four seconds. Play solo against three bots or with 2–8 friends. With two friends, two bots fill the table.

Yes. A friends room supports 2–8 players. Choose Play with friends, share the room invitation, and ready up together.

Can I play alone?

Yes. Choose Play solo for your own round. Friends rooms are a separate option.

Do I need to download anything?

No. Spoons runs in your browser. Use the keyboard controls above or the game’s on screen controls on a phone.

Can I grab a spoon without four matching cards?

Once another player takes the first spoon, everyone can grab. Before that, you need four matching cards to take the first spoon. Grabbing too early or missing a spoon can eliminate you.

What happens when only two friends join?

Two bots fill the table. Friends rooms support two to eight human players; solo practice has three bots.
