About these terms
These Terms of Use govern the Eggverse website and games that link to them. Eggverse is operated by anbu corp, doing business as Eggverse, based in Ontario, Canada (“Eggverse,” “we,” “us”). By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled. It does not replace any separate consent required by privacy law. Questions about these terms can be sent to waseemkhalo@gmail.com.
Who can play
You must be at least 13 years old, and meet any higher minimum age required where you live, to use Eggverse. If you are a minor under the law where you live, your parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these terms and supervise your use.
The current service does not provide a verified parental-consent process for children under 13. Do not create an account or submit personal information if you do not meet the applicable requirements.
Your account and username
You can play available practice games as a guest. Google and Apple sign-in, where available, let you maintain an account and claim an available username. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account and for keeping access to your connected sign-in provider secure. Tell us if you suspect unauthorized use.
Choose a username you have a right to use. Do not impersonate another person, use someone else’s personal information, or choose a name that is abusive, misleading, or infringes another person’s rights. We may require a username change or restrict an account to address these issues. A username reservation does not give you ownership of that word or name.
Guest identity or device-local progress may be lost if cookies or browser storage are cleared. Signing out or disconnecting a provider does not automatically delete your Eggverse account; see the Privacy Policy for deletion requests.
Play fairly and treat people well
You must not:
- Harass, threaten, bully, discriminate against, sexually exploit, or target other players, or post unlawful content.
- Share private information about another person without permission, solicit sensitive information, or use the service for scams or deceptive promotions.
- Cheat, forge scores, tamper with game messages, manipulate results, or use unauthorized automation in multiplayer or competitive play.
- Bypass access controls, steal accounts, exploit vulnerabilities, interfere with availability, or probe systems without authorization.
- Upload malware, spam rooms, evade a restriction, or use Eggverse in a way that violates applicable law or someone else’s intellectual-property rights.
Report safety or security concerns using the contact information in these terms. Do not access another person’s data or disrupt the service to demonstrate an issue.
Rooms, chat and game results
Room codes and invitation links allow other people to join. Share them carefully: recipients can forward them. You control what you choose to send in chat, and other players may copy or share what they see. Avoid posting sensitive personal information.
We may remove or limit content, invalidate affected results, close rooms, or suspend accounts when reasonably necessary to address a breach of these terms, cheating, security, safety, or legal requirements. We do not promise to review every message or supervise every game in real time.
Connection failures, device performance, bugs, or maintenance may interrupt a game or affect a result. We may correct errors or reset affected scores when reasonably necessary to keep games fair. If you believe an action was mistaken, contact us with the relevant username, game and approximate time.
Your content and our artwork
You keep any rights you have in content you submit, such as chat messages. You give anbu corp a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission to host, process, reproduce, and display that content only as needed to operate, protect, and provide the service. This permission lasts only while those uses are needed, subject to the retention and legal exceptions in the Privacy Policy. You must have the rights needed to submit the content.
The Eggverse name, logos, illustrations, game software, sounds, and other service materials are owned by anbu corp or its licensors. We give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable permission to access and play the service for lawful, non-commercial enjoyment while you comply with these terms.
These terms do not transfer ownership of our materials or override permissions provided by an applicable open-source or third-party licence. Do not redistribute our artwork or sell access to the service without permission.
Free play, virtual items and future purchases
The current release is free to play. Paid entry, cash prizes, and prize redemption are not enabled. Scores, tickets, tokens, costumes, and other virtual items displayed in the arcade are game features; they have no cash value, cannot be cashed out, and do not represent an investment or ownership interest.
If paid features are offered later, we will show the price and applicable purchase, cancellation, and refund terms before you decide to purchase. These terms do not authorize an automatic charge or subscription. Any promotion or prize event would require its own applicable rules.
Changes and availability
Eggverse is evolving. We may update games, adjust difficulty or balance, add or remove features, or interrupt access for maintenance, security, or other operational reasons. We will give reasonable notice of significant changes where practical and required by law.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, that every feature works on every device, or that all guest progress and scores will always be preserved. Your own internet or mobile-data charges remain your responsibility.
Ending access
You can stop using Eggverse at any time. To request deletion of account information, follow the Privacy Policy.
We may restrict or end access for a material breach of these terms, a safety or security issue, a legal requirement, or discontinuation of the service. Where appropriate and lawful, we will explain the reason and provide an opportunity to raise a concern. Urgent protective action may be taken without advance notice.
Ending access does not remove rights or obligations that, by their nature, should continue, including rights in artwork, liability provisions, and obligations relating to earlier misuse.
Responsibility and your legal rights
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided on an “as available” basis without additional promises of uninterrupted operation, fitness for a particular purpose, or error-free results. We are not responsible for independent third-party services, the actions of other players, or problems outside our reasonable control, except where the law makes us responsible.
To the extent permitted by law, anbu corp is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or business opportunities, arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, deliberate misconduct, gross negligence, personal injury where it cannot lawfully be excluded, or any other liability that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
Your mandatory consumer, privacy, and other statutory rights remain unaffected. These terms do not require you to waive those rights, use mandatory arbitration, or give up access to a court or regulator that applicable law makes available.
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, except where mandatory law where you live requires otherwise. Subject to those mandatory rights, disputes may be brought before the courts of Ontario. Nothing in this clause prevents you from using a court, regulator, or remedy that applicable consumer or privacy law entitles you to use.
Changes, questions and disputes
We may revise these terms as the service changes. Updated terms will show a new date. We will give reasonable notice of material changes and seek agreement where required. Changes apply going forward and do not remove rights that already arose. If you do not agree to updated terms, stop using the service.
If part of these terms cannot be enforced, the remaining terms apply to the extent the law permits. Our decision not to enforce a term on one occasion does not waive it for the future.
