There is no GamePigeon for Android. GamePigeon runs inside Apple’s Messages app, so both players need an iPhone, iPad or Mac. If one of you has an Android phone, play in the browser instead: on eggverse, one person shares a link, the other taps it, and you both play from any phone, tablet or computer with no download.
One difference matters before you start. Most GamePigeon games go turn by turn in a message thread, so you can answer hours later. These games are live: you both play at the same time. Find a few minutes when you are both free, or play while you are on a call.

Royal Shells is chess with classic rules, egg shaped pieces and no chess clock: tap an egg, then a glowing square. Speed is a card race with no turns, where you both play at once, one rank higher or lower on either centre pile, until someone clears all twenty cards. Ember Volley settles it over a net: get under the landing marker, jump, then spike. First egg to seven wins.
Want to be on the same side for once? Egg Pop has you both aiming into one bubble board to match three costumes, and Shellbreaker gives you two paddles and one brick field. Two card tables also work for a pair: in The Yolk’s On You, Benny joins as a third player so your hands stay hidden, and two bots fill out a game of Spoons.
Which to try first? For a slow game you can talk over, Royal Shells has no clock, so nobody has to rush a move. For something fast, pick Speed or Ember Volley. If one of you rarely plays games, start on the same side in Egg Pop, where you only aim and shoot.
How to start a game from a text message
- Open a game page in your phone’s browser and choose Play with friends.
- Share the room invitation in your text thread, whatever messaging app you both use.
- Your friend taps the link, or types the code on Join a room, where the EGG- prefix is already filled in.
- Ready up together, then start the match.
