Neon Nest: a real engine, and the race in an egg carton.

  • Updated: It sounds like a car. The engine revs through five gears and you hear every shift. Boosts roar louder, and drifting makes the tyres squeal.
  • Updated: The gauge egg. Your speed sits next to a little gauge egg with a needle. It turns Neon pink while you boost and cracks when you're hit.
  • New: Standings in an egg carton. Every racer's head sits in a cup under your speed. Overtakes hop the heads between cups, and you ride the yolk.
  • Updated: The Nest map. The route is a little road ring. On phones it hangs under the lap counter, and on a computer it sits bottom left, with your held item bigger in the bottom right.

Neon Nest: speed up top, the map in its corner.

  • Updated: Speed, top left. Your speed sits top left with your place just under it. The number holds steady at top speed and glows pink while you boost.
  • Updated: The map has a home. The route map moved from under your thumb to the top right corner, under the pause button.
  • Fixed: See your item. On a computer, your held item now shows bottom right with the Q key beside it. Picking up or using an item shows on the item button instead of in words.

Neon Nest's HUD matches every other game.

  • Updated: Place and lap, where you expect them. Your place is top left and the lap is top centre. LAP 2 and FINAL LAP hatch out of an egg as they start.
  • Updated: A clearer race. The old speed card, lap strip and row of racers are gone. Your drift charge fills the drift button, and race news shows as short notes.
  • Fixed: Friends races match. The item button is Neon pink, racer names are clear tags in each player's colour, and the rear view no longer covers the top of the screen.

Neon Nest steers as far as you lean.

  • Fixed: No more wobble. A small sideways drift while you push the stick forward now drives straight. Before, the slightest lean turned the kart all the way.
  • Updated: Turn as hard as you lean. Lean the stick a little for a gentle turn and all the way across for a full one. Keyboard steering is unchanged.
  • Updated: A fresh leaderboard. Steering works differently now, so Neon Nest best times start a new board.

Neon Nest runs smoothly, and phones steer with the stick.

  • Fixed: No more stutter. The city circuit takes a fraction of the time to draw each frame, so races stay smooth on phones held upright, where the lag was worst. The streets, karts and buildings look exactly the same.
  • Updated: Steer with the stick. On phones, the Drive stick steers on its own. Leaning the phone no longer takes over, and Neon Nest no longer asks for motion access, solo or with friends.

Neon Nest gets a smoother city drive.

  • Updated: Steer, drift and boost. The city circuit responds to real steering, drifting and boost timing.
  • Updated: Race on any screen. The HUD and touch controls adapt cleanly to desktop and phone layouts.
  • Updated: Finish with a clean result. The field and clock hold at the third lap finish. The new solo circuit has its own verified finish times so older track records stay separate.

A livelier market. A closer race.

  • Updated: Keep the pack in your mirrors. Neon Nest computer racers keep a more competitive pace, with gentler recovery when behind and an ease off when far ahead. Drift and use your items to make the difference.

Neon Nest: take the wheel.

  • Updated: You drive this thing. Hold W or Up to accelerate, or hold the joystick on mobile. Lift off to coast. Your kart has a higher top speed, with calmer computer rivals and new racing sounds.
  • Fixed: Boosts for the whole grid. Road boost pads stay on the track for every racer to use.

Neon Nest takes to the city streets.

  • Updated: A city worth racing through. Connected storefronts, a transit district and waterfront give the lap a new look. Take the market bend or the raised express route through Shell Square.
  • New: Catch their slipstream. Follow closely and stay aligned behind a moving kart to charge a short speed boost. Airflow trails appear while you are in the stream.
  • Updated: More racing. Less getting stuck. Computer racers use drift boosts and choose pickups more carefully. Toast fires forward even without a target, shocks reach fewer nearby karts, and drift protection matches the shield item.

Every game plays the same way now.

  • New: Tilt to steer. On phones, tilt to steer in Neon Nest, Dino Gold Rush and Cloud Hopper, or turn it off in the game menu. Tap the pinball flippers and Yolkworks switches directly.
  • New: Neon Nest item boxes spin. Grab a box and it spins for 3 seconds before your item lands. Your item shows as a picture you can tap to use.

Neon Nest brings the chaos.

  • New: Toast your rivals. Fire a Toast Rocket, boost with Rocket Roast, block a hit with Bubble Wrap, leave a Yolk Slick or zap nearby karts with Static Pop. Computer rivals now collect and use items too, with visible launches, hits and protection.
  • Updated: Nail the start. Slide the corner. Random starting spots and synchronized traffic lights set up the race. Press Drive just as GO appears for a launch boost. Drifts now slide and spark, wheels spin, and holding rear view lets you watch the chase.
  • Updated: More room. More chances. The wider four lane track gives racers space. Item boxes return after four seconds, while dodged yolk spills remain on the circuit until a kart hits them, even on a later lap.
  • Fixed: Contact with consequences. Rear end collisions briefly spin the trailing kart; side contact nudges both. A short recovery window prevents repeated spinouts. Static Pop now shows its electric wave, affected rivals and blocked hits.

Sharper rounds. Cleaner screens.

  • Updated: Neon Nest moves faster. Races run about sixty percent quicker with sharper acceleration, and the checkered line appears only where a lap actually ends.
  • Fixed: Neon pickups no longer vanish. Item boxes in the taller portrait view were being clipped out of sight. They stay visible until you claim them.

The arcade, ready for company.

  • New: Neon Nest kart racing. Three laps on a shared track with items and a finish line. Friend races rank by position first, then time.
