How to play Shadow Step
Swap walls as the climb gets faster. Catch teal vents for a strong updraft. Collect a Shadow Surge to blast through danger, or a shield to block one hit. With friends, one pickup powers everyone. Solo means just you and your shadow. Keep climbing until your shell cracks.

Can I play Shadow Step with friends?
Yes. A friends room supports 2–4 players. Choose Play with friends, share the room invitation, and ready up together.
Can I play alone?
Yes. Choose Play solo for your own round. Friends rooms are a separate option.
Do I need to download anything?
No. Shadow Step runs in your browser. Use the keyboard controls above or the game’s on-screen controls on a phone.
